Woman Sues Disney for Stealing Her Life Story

A woman has sued Disney for supposedly ripping off her life story with their movie Frozen. She says she published a book detailing her life, and Frozen is a rip-off of this. Source



I hope she doesn't expect to get any money out of that. I've never really watched Frozen, but from what I can tell, it looks incredibly fantasy-like, and if anything is more of a rip-off of some fairy tales. Not a woman's life story...that couldn't possibly happen.

Pfft, pulease. She just wants attention for her book is all. It's nothing more then a strategy for her to try & make some easy cash (by trying to get Disney to settle).. On top of getting her book some attention: which also gets her money.

This is absolutely hilarious. 

Of course, small similarities can be drawn from multiple sources - but to go for a full out sue? Man, she's insane - she's probably going for further publicity much like what queen said earlier.

She's only doing this to gain publicity for her book. But it makes me wonder, why would she sue Disney for Frozen? It just makes her seem more insane, and if anything I'd think it would make less people want to purchase her book.

Frozen is still HUGE, and to even gain exposure from something like this could give her the potential publicity she probably wants. 

Some people just approach success...in very different ways than others I suppose.

Nothing new here. People always try things like this and then they have no proof to back it up.

I don't think this lawsuit will last long. We already know the victor, right?
