After several requests, the idea has come to life!
Around once a week, I will conduct an interview with a member, and post it here.
I'll probably start the the staff, then Elites, and so forth.
First, our Founder and Administrator, Winters Thief Zero.
We hope you enjoy this.
What made you want to create TNFS?
To be honest, there was no specific reason I wanted to create TNFS. The biggest one was certainly wanting to create a diverse community. I was also a member of many forums at the time, most of which were either really large or centered on a specific thing. I wanted to make a smaller (but of course still active!) community that was for Nintendo, and really, video games as a whole.
I was also just experimenting with things at the time.
It's been almost 3 years since you've created TNFS, how has it changed your life?
It's changed my life in so many ways. I've met so many amazing friends and I feel important. It just feels great to have created such a unique and fantastic community of people. I've also made it a big priority in my life, so in that respect it's certainly affected it as well. (in that I always make sure I've been on TNFS to read through posts and respond)
What do you currently do in your life?
Well, I actually still have school-related stuff to do! (I won't specify on what level though ) That keeps me sort of busy, but it's mainly performing! I do theatre, I'm pretty sure everyone here knows that. I try to take part in as many productions and theatre-related events in general that I can! It's not really my career yet...I just participate in it. But it's where I spend most of my time.
Where does your family history trace back to?
On my mother's side, Italy! My whole maternal family is Italian, although I don't know any other specifics. I also don't know anything about my father's side really, haha.
Do you see yourself becoming the successful one in your family?
Funny question, but honestly, yes. My mom is a prosecutor, and has been pretty successful with that. Neither of my brothers have done anything I'd say is truly successful though. Not to "toot my own horn" but I think I'm pretty talented, and although it's very difficult to find jobs in theatre and arts in general, I think I'll continue to manage.
We all know you love the theatre, but what other career would you consider?
This is such a hard question! Other than the obvious cop-out of technical theatre or film acting, maybe...computer forensics? Or at least something crime-related. I've always been interested in that stuff. But I'm pretty content on performing. I'm just that kind of person.
What is your favourite play you have ever been in?
Psycho Beach Party! I was actually just in it pretty recently, a couple months ago. I played my favorite part I've ever played in any production ever, and it's actually given me the nickname most people call me now. It was just such a fun production to put on, and the whole cast was amazing. I loved it. <3
If Nintendo called you and told you that you could make one game, what would it be?
This is a really tough question, so I just have to say, probably some kind of new IP with a new concept. I come up with tons of ideas all the time. I'm just not sure exactly what to be honest...
What is your favourite game of all time, and why?
Super Mario 64 is my favorite game. It's such an amazing title, for being the first truly free-roaming 3D game ever, they pulled it off so perfectly. It's just a joy to play through it, and I've played it all the way through more than any other game in existence. Each level is crafted into it's own masterpiece, agh I just LOVE it.
If you could meet any TNFS member in real life, who would it be?
I feel like I'd be leaving people out by answering this! But I'd have to go with Gameguy. I'm not quite sure why...honestly, I'd just love to meet all of the long-time members.
What adjective best describes you in your opinion?
Outgoing. It's weird, because only around a year or so ago, I wouldn't have even come close to fitting that description. But now I'm really outward and try to do new things and meet new people, without fears or anything like that.
How long do you plan on being active on TNFS?
Is this even a question? As long as TNFS is around, I may not be 100% active, as in, as much as I am now, but I will always remain a part of the community. I'll try to stay as active as I possibly can throughout it's entire life, which I'm hoping is forever!
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Hard to answer this, things can change. But I can see myself continuing to do theatre, probably living somewhere else. I don't really plan to stay in my current area for much longer...I'd like to go to another place. I'm just not quite sure exactly where.
What upcoming game are looking forward to the most?
Well I'm glad you asked this 9 days before that game releases, SPLATOON!!! I've been extremely excited to play Splatoon ever since E3 last year where it was revealed. I've played it, and it's so much fun, I can't wait to be able to do so whenever I want and in it's full form. It's a phenomenal and incredibly innovative amazing game. So great.
