RIP Dave

I won't give the full name for privacy, but Dave, the father of my cousin's daughter, passed away early this morning, believed to be due to a drug overdose. Now I wasn't that close to him, and although he could be mean-spirited, it's heartbreaking to see him pass at such a young age, it really is incredibly sad, especially for his daughter being that she's only 4 years old. (she hasn't been informed yet, but growing up without a father I know will be difficult for her) And he really was a good man despite some of his decisions, including the one that could be the cause of death.

RIP.

I don't know if you can partially blame the way I am because I didn't grow up with a father or not. I saw him once in my life when I was really young. I virtually know nothing about him either except he also made bad decisions in his life such as stealing and going to jail.

Maybe it was a good thing I never got to know him. Who knows. All I know if it's been 21 years and I've lived life without a dad.

That's horrible, but I'm glad you've managed to get by. Of course it isn't impossible to raise a child on your own, but not having 2 parents really can be hard on them. Whether there's a father or not, it certainly does make it more easier when there's 2.

Also Jellypop, if you were to blame the way you are based on him not being there, then it's in a positive way, you're great. :3
