The latest Kirby game will roll in on June 10 and the game is even getting it's own amiibo set.

This was my highlight of the Direct and the Team Kirby Clash reminds me of City Trail in a way.

    LOOKS AMAZING.

Most definitely my favorite part of the Direct. I absolutely adore Kirby and the past few entries have been fantastic. I'm really excited to try out this new one, it looks to be just as good as Triple Deluxe. I like the idea of taking enemy armor and the fact that even that can use copy abilities, it's really interesting.

I just felt the need to post the game's fantastic boxart:

The boxart for this game is great, I really love it. I couldn't find the localized boxarts but I did see one earlier.

EEEEEEEEEE I WANT THE KIRBY AMIIBO!
Everything about this game looks fantastic, Triple Deluxe is one of my favorite 3DS games, so I'm really excited for any new main Kirby game. Noticed Meta Knight on the boxart, maybe this ties into how Dedede was a major part of Triple Deluxe?

Amazing final reveal of the Direct.

Wasn't Team Kirby Clash more of an action RPG in a way? Either way it's still damn fun (and thank goodness I can play on my lonesome lmao)

    Kirby mech is broken lol

Hoping that Smash Kirby isn't an amiibo exclusive ability (UFO probably is but ehh)
    Poison reminds me of Water
Doctor looks like the new Bell/Circus in terms of fun
Apparently ESP ability is a thing but it hasn't been officially revealed yet

    This is great!
This really came out of nowhere, I'm glad they're putting out one more for the 3DS, Triple Deluxe was great.
Those amiibo also look really good.

I've never been very fond of Kirby. I do enjoy some of the games. The title made me think it was another spin-off title they like the experiment with, turns out it wasn't. It looks like a pretty good main game to me. It has some interesting copy abilities (Disappointed UFO is locked behind an amiibo) and fun level design. The new robot feature looks pretty cool too. I don't care for this set of amiibo but they look well done.

Team Kirby Clash looks interesting, especially with the level ups and stats. I hope it has online play.

    @The Shattered Legacy
Yeah, with the whole leveling up system it does seem to at least have some RPG elements. I feel like they didn't fully describe how that mode works though.

Also I love all the positivity here, Kirby is definitely a more underrated Nintendo series. (although it is definitely second/third tier sales wise which isn't bad)

    WHAT

I'm not going to watch the video because spoilers, but based on the thumbnail it looks nearly identical to that cancelled 3D Kirby game for the Wii. So now they're bringing that back? I've been wanting to play that for the longest time. Honestly a fully 3D Kirby game wouldn't work very well at all, and I can see why they haven't made one yet, but the style they're going for with this looks really fun and interesting. I'm excited to try it out even if it is just a sub game. Hopefully there's more than just a few levels like there tend to be with those games.

ESP Krby has finally been show, Mirror Kirby returns and Japan is getting a few Kirby faceplates.

ESP does look quite like Ness and it's nice how Mirror returns after not showing up for quite a while.

    MIRROR KIRBY?!

Mirror is legitimately my favorite ability from Kirby Super Star, so seeing it return and knowing that we'll get a full moveset from it makes me incredibly happy.

    Here are some more details.

Nintendo Everything wrote:Nintendo updated the Japanese Kirby: Planet Robobot site today with some new information. We have details about a copy ability and Robobot Armor modes.

First, Nintendo has shown the Esper copy ability. With psychic powers, Kirby can make himself disappear, or attack with electric energy. There will be over 25 copy abilities in the game, including new and old ones.

Here’s some information about new Robobot Armor modes (over 10 in total):

    – Spark Mode: Launch a single piercing attack with shockwaves
    – Jet Mode: Transform into a jet fighter, fly in the sky and instantly lock-on to enemies
    – Cutter Mode: Slice through enemies with blades that look like giant sawteeth
    – Bomb Mode: Attack continuously by releasing the Walker Nitros
    – Wheel Mode: Thrust forward like a racer with the Full Turbo Accel

I can't wait to see how all the Robobot modes change up the levels and it seems like we know every power-up now.

Kirby: Planet Robobot reviews are out weeks before release, and they're actually really great! In fact it seems to be the best scores any traditional Kirby game has ever received! (even the critic from GameSpot enjoyed it)

Reviews are far from everything but it's still awesome that this is the case! The game looks amazing and the reviews definitely reflect that, and it's refreshing to get such great review scores for a Nintendo game after sooo many low scores since Xenoblade X.
