Pokemon Sword and Shield

The next Generation of Pokemon has been announced and the games will be released in late 2019.



The region looks pretty cool even though I'm not really feeling the starters at the moment.

^It's always hard to tell the starters for just their first forms  since you see those only for the beginning

Game's lookin good so far, bringing back gym leaders, was pretty happy seeing nothing to do with like a gen 1 huzzah like s/m had, also surprising they didn't show legendaries at all, but I'm very interested in seein more

The region does look cool. Visually it looks like an upgraded Let's Go game with more interesting environments and better camera angles, which isn't bad. Not quite what I would have hoped for but it looks fine. Definitely looking forward to seeing more.

I really like the design of Alcremie the most out of the new Pokemon shown. I kind of like how they brought back the version exclusive gym leaders for those who play both games and I  feel like they should have just made megas of the new Pokemon over Giantamaxing.

I was not expecting them to give Galarian Linoone an evolution, the new rivals look nice  and,  already see Team Yell not being the main evil team much like Team Skull.

Team Yell be diet Team Skull. No this is actually some interesting information, the Weezing in particular shocked me.

The male trainer finally gets some more options and I like the new bird Pokemon.

The long rumored Sirfetch'd has finally been reveled.



While this was not much of a surprise due to it being leaked months ago and it's nice to see Facetch'd get something even if I wished it looked a little more different.

There will be 18 gyms in the game.

It's about time they added a dark type gym. Now we will wait and see if they the minor ones will be required or not.

18 in each version seems to have been false info sadly. Maybe there could be some post game gym leaders?

Here are 5 new Giganticax forms.



It kind of sucks how Pikachu, Meowth, Charizard and Eevee get something again after getting new forms or exclusive Z moves in the last 2 gens. I'm glad Butterfree finally gets something though.

An expansion pass featuring the Isle of Armor and the Crown Tundra will be released later this year. The Isle of Armor will be released this June with Crown Tundra coming this Fall.



I hope that each area is close to 10 hours long due to the DLC being $30. I'm glad that there adding in more raids for people like me who have finished the game and I like the Chairman Rose and Marnie outfits there adding in.

While the design is not the best I like how Zarude is a new type combination in grass/dark.
