Recess

By far one of the most memorable Disney shows that there's ever been.

A simple show about 6 kids enjoying their Recess, getting into trouble and learning about life.

What makes this show so great is that everyone has a unique personality, even the background characters all have traits and personalities.

Of course, add a brilliant and diverse cast of minor characters to add to the equation and you got yourself what makes Recess such a great show.


With so many characters to interact with the main cast they always have something new and fresh yet so close to it's regular formula. It's really what made 90's TV so impactful.

The writing and animation in the show are brilliant, and over the years it never got stale in any way.

So, did any of you watch Recess? What did you think about it?

I never heard of it until that topic Yi made about that other show...I never really watched many Disney shows though.

I honestly would recommend it to you. It's aged nicely and it's just a nice little throwback regardless to what age you are.

You guys should've watched more older Disney cartoons they were pretty good. Recess I used to watch all the time when it was on, er most of the time when it was on. The show was good it had plenty of really weird things thrown into it but it was still enjoyable.

Today's disney shows are rubbish, with the exception of Phineas & Ferb and Gravity Falls.

Old Disney never really made any mistakes: Recess, Weekenders, Lyoid in Space, Pepper Ann, even buying the rights to Doug was smart!
